Esteemed Sydney-based producer Chasm has teamed up with Melbourne songstress to release the acclaimed new album Move. Available now in all good stores, the album showcases the eclectic mix of hip hop infused with reggae and soul. Featuring guest spots from Million Dan, Damajah and Mantra, the album is getting an incredible reception from both radio and press.

# Astronomy Class Pursuit of Happiness Tour

GULLY PLATOON UNVEIL NEW VIDEO, THE GREAT DIVIDE NOMINATED FOR AIR AWARD

Hip hop power trio Gully Platoon have unveiled the brand new music video for the track “Bank Job.” The video, the second from the album The Great Divide, is a continuation of the blockbuster event that was the “Nothing to Lose” clip, concluding the epic war-themed storyboard which has included high-impact explosives, potential international-crises evoking interplay, and a tank.

“Bank Job” focuses on the more claustrophobic aspects of conflict, exchanging the open-space terrain of the first video for darkly lit compounds, uncertainty, and betrayal- all backed by the frenetic, laser pace of the song.

The Great Divide has also been nominated for an AIR Award in the category of Best Independent Hip Hop/Urban Album alongside noted artists Hermitude and Astronomy Class to name a few. The winner of the award will be announced Sunday, November 22nd during a ceremony at The Forum Theatre in Melbourne hosted by The Chasers’ Julian Morrow.

THUNDAMENTALS LAUNCH NATIONAL
WAKE UP TOUR!

NSW hip-hop collective Thundamentals have announced their first national headlining tour in support of their recently released full length, Sleeping On Your Style! After successful runs supporting Astronomy Class and shows on the current Obese Records Block Party Tour, Thundamentals will cross the country hitting major cities and regional locations on a trek dubbed the Wake Up Tour!

The tour is now picking up steam after a rocking start in their hometowns of Sydney and Katoomba. The Thundamentals recently played a special Apple Store show with Urthboy and performed for the masses all throughout the Obese Records Block Party Tour.
