1. What are you listening to
at the moment?
Crookers and Kid Cudi – Embrace the
Martian.
2. What influences you musically?
I listen to a lot of different music, shit
that belongs to different genres and eras
and all that jazz – everything is influential
in the sense that keeping an open mind and
listening to heaps of different shit gives
you a broader musical perspective, I think
so anyway. I find anyone who is mashing shit
up, pushing boundaries and just generally
having fun with their music to be influential.
In terms of Australian hip-hop, my main influences
coming up were, of course, the Hilltop Hoods,
Urthboy, Pegz, Bliss n Eso (especially the
live show – they are the kings), Trem,
Hyjak, Komrade Kos, Delta..
3. What are you working on right now?
I’m meant to be doing an assignment
right now but I have a sneaking suspicion
that’s not what you meant. Musically,
we’re just about to get into the next
album – I’m keen as hell to get
working on it..
4. What can't you say no to?
Way too much. Brunette girls with headbands.
