Not only is Pegz the director and innovative force behind Obese Records, he is a passionate story teller to complete the package. Pegz (formally known as MC Pegasus) has been mastering his craft for over a decade now.

Pegz released the dynamic LP “Axis” in 2005 and since then has released his 3rd album "Burn City" in October 2007. Pegz is a man on a mission and his dedication to the local scene has been evident in the continued development he has nurtured over the past 8 years. It is not just believing in the scene, but creating opportunities for all active MC’s and producers to turn their passions into a reality, or a release!

1. What are you listening to at the moment?

Dialectrix, Chasm, Muph & Plutonic,Thundamentals, Spit Syndicate. I am also loving the new Al Green - Lay it Down.

2. What influences you musically?

Nothing like pain to inspire songwriting.

3. What are you working on right now?

I have been writing new songs for a new project entitled "Killing Amy G Dala".

4. What can’t you say no to?

Having after parties at my house.
