Muph has proved himself a consummate all rounder, winning the 2001 Victorian Verbal Mechanics Freestyle Battle Competition and since then performing countless live shows. His reflective and conscious song writing had its solo debut release in 2003 with ‘More Than Music’.

Most well known for his MC work as one half of the renowned duo Muph & Plutonic and often labelled as “Australia’s most honest MC,” Muph’s reflective and conscious song writing continue to delve into uplifting and inspiring topics, often featuring an honest and humbled approach to all areas of life.

1. What are you listening to at the moment?

P.O.S Audition, a former punk group member, this album is heavy. It was released through Rhymesayers.

2. What influences you musically? Any particular artists?

A whole bunch of shit. I still like that mid nineties boom bap, but then again I also get into Definitive Jux stuff, like that last Cage album. Pretty much any artist whose writing something outside the square.

3. What are you working on right now?

Plutonic and myself are working on the new Muph + Plutonic album. We're getting there. It's tentatively to be called "Silence The Sirens". Plus I'm writing for a bunch of guest spots as well.

4. What can't you say no to?

Ciggarettes and Beer. I'm really original.
